Your assignment for Strand III is to complete the Excel 95 or Excel 97 or Excel 2000 tutorial (depending on which version you have) and then perform the following tasks.
  • In Excel, create a worksheet according to the following specifications:

Your assignment for Strand IV is to:
  • Complete the Access95 or Access97 or Access 2000 tutorial (depending on which version you have) and then perform the following tasks.
  • In Access, create a DATABASE according to the following specifications.
    Name your database StudentDB and save it on the floppy disk in a new folder named Strand IV

    (This is a great little FREE magazine.  If you don't already subscribe you should sign up for a free subscription.)

  • Prepare a presentation to share with others. (You may select a project you created for this course.)
    The presentation may be a PowerPoint presentation, web pages you have developed, a WORD document you are proud of, a worksheet you have prepared, a database system, or another useful technology-related project.
  • Save your project on a floppy disk, hard drive, or CD-ROM.
  • Present your technology project to a group of colleagues.  In an email message to techtrain@techtrainteam.com, explain why your project is useful in education.  Describe the presentation setting, audience, etc. Describe the feedback you received from your audience.
