Add Text to Menu Form

Your finished Menu Form will look like the one shown here.

The top button will allow you to display records using a form. The next two buttons display a report in print preview mode. These last two buttons use different methods to accomplish the same thing.

Click the Forms tab on the Access tabbed dialog box.

Select New.

Select Design View and Click OK.

The Form Design Window appears. We'll put a Title on the Menu.

If the toolbox is not visible, click on the toolbox button.

The Form Design Toolbox appears.

Click on the Label button in the toolbox. Drag out a text area for the Title.

The Form should look like this.

Type "Student Information Menu" in the text area.

The Form looks like the one above. Notice the Access Formatting toolbar. You will use this to make changes to the appearance of the text.

Select the label. You should see "handles" around the label area.

Using the Access Formatting toolbar, make changes to the appearance of the text. Select a dark blue fill color, a red border, white text that is centered. Your title should look similar to this.
