   Step  1
The PowerPoint Menubar consists of the choices shown below.

In the Microsoft Office 2000 Suite of products you see many similarities between products.
The menubars of each product will become familiar to you.
Each menubar begins with the File menu item. The next choice is Edit followed by View, Insert, etc.

The PowerPoint Standard Toolbar consists of a group of buttons labeled with icons.

The Standard Toolbar in PowerPoint is used to:
A. Create a new presentation,
B. Open an existing presentation,
C. Save a presentation,
D. Print and
E. Preview what printed output will look like.

The PowerPoint Formatting Toolbar consists of a group of buttons labeled with icons.

The Formatting Toolbar in PowerPoint is used to select fontface, font size, font style, such as, bold, Italics, or underline.
It is also used to align text and apply bullets & numbering in a document.

The PowerPoint Drawing Toolbar consists of a group of buttons labeled with icons.

The Drawing Toolbar is used to draw shapes, lines, autoshapes, such as, flowchart symbols, novelty shapes, or callouts.
The formatting toolbar is also used to input and apply colors and formats to WordArt.
