Select File | New from the menubar.
The PowerPoint dialog box will appear.
OR...


You may also select File | New, then click on the General Tab and select the AutoContent Wizard.

Click the radio button labeled "AutoContent Wizard".

Click OK.
The AutoContent Wizard will appear.

Click Next.

Select the Category and Type of presentation you wish to create.

Click Next.

Click one of the option buttons to select the type of output you want to create

Click Next.

Type the title of your presentation. Select display options and footer information.

By default PowerPoint includes the date the slides were last updated and the slide number.
Click Next.

Click Finish.

The first slide you and the AutoContent Wizard created is displayed.

You may add and modify slides.

To save your work,
select File | Save As from the menu.

The Save As dialog box will appear.

Enter your filename.
Specify where to save your work in the Save In box.
