View Toolbar

The View Toolbar is normally located in the lower-left of the PowerPoint window when you are working on a presentation.

Normal View

Normal View
Shows all aspects of your presentation.
From this view, you can work on content and appearance.
To adjust the size of the panes, drag their borders.

Outline View

Outline View
Shows the text in the presentation.
From this view, you can focus on the presentation's content.
Good for entering and editing text.

Slide View

Slide View
Shows a single slide.
Good for laying out text and importing clip art images.

Slide Sorter View

Slide Sorter View
Shows several slides at once (to see more or fewer slides, choose View | Zoom and select a percentage).
Good for moving and deleting slides.

Slide Show View

Slide Show View
Shows a single slide that fills the entire screen.
This is what the slide looks like in a presentation.
