Save as HTML
Step 1 From the menu, select File | Save as HTML
 Make sure you have already saved your file as a PowerPoint file. The Save as HTML Wizard appears. This is the "Start" window. Click Next.

Step 2 In the Layout Selection, select New Layout.
 Click Next.

Step 3 In the Layout Selection, select either Standard or Browser Frames.
 We will select Standard. Click Next.

Step 4 In the Graphic Type, select either GIF, JPG, or PowerPoint Animation.
 We will select the most common, GIF. Click Next.

Step 5 In the Graphic Size, select the screen resolution and graphic image size.
 We will select the most common, 640 X 480 and 1/2 width of screen. The slides will appear as graphics that cover 1/2 of the screen. Click Next.

Step 6 In the Information Page, type your email address and web site address if you wish these to appear.
 We will also include buttons that allow people to download our presentation and/or Microsoft Internet Explorer. These are optional. Click Next.

Step 7 In the Colors and Buttons page, you can customize colors.
 We will accept the default colors. Click Next.

Step 8 In the Colors and Buttons page, you can customize button styles.
 We will select a ROUND button. Click Next.

Step 9 In the Layout Options page, you can customize button placement on the page.
 We will place buttons on the left and include any notes. Click Next.

Step 10 In the Layout Options page, you specify where your web pages are located.
 We will place our web pages on the hard drive. Click Next and Finish.

Step 11 If you wish to save all the choices (settings) you have just made, type a name in this dialog box.
 This is an optional step.

Step 12 Your slides are saved as a series of web pages.
 This is What the table of contents page (index.html) looks like. Note the link to download the PowerPoint file and the button to download Microsoft Internet Explorer. These were described in Step 6.
