Objectives:
Inserting a multimedia component (Sound or Video)Multimedia components, such as, sound, graphics, and video can enhance your PowerPoint presentations. However, it is important to remember to use multimedia sparingly. Sound, graphics, and video files can be millions of bytes in size. This has the effect of slowing down your presentation. You will insert a sound file in your presentation.
The Insert Sound Dialog Box opens. Now the sound (or video) object is "embedded" on the slide and its icon is visible. When you get to this slide during your slide presentation and click the sound icon, the sound will play. Setting when you want the sound or video to play. You use the Animation Settings command to tell PowerPoint how and when embedded movies and sounds should be played. |
