PowerPoint 95 Menu Inserting Clipart and WordArt Next Topic

Objectives:

  1. Learn to insert clipart in a presentation.
  2. Learn to insert WordArt in a presentation.

Inserting Clipart into your presentation.

Occasionally you will want to insert graphics into your presentation. You can develop your own artwork or use Microsoft’s Clipart Gallery.

  1. Save any work that you have.
  2. Choose File/Open to open your PTA Meeting presentation if necessary.
  3. Choose Insert/Clipart.
    1. Select the People category and several Clipart images will be displayed that pertain to People.
    2. Select Group Meeting or another image which is appropriate for your slide.
    3. Click OK.

Your slide will look similar to the one shown below.

Inserting WordArt into your presentation.

This activity cannot be completed if you do not have WordArt on your computer.

  1. Save any work that you have.
  2. Choose Insert/Object.
    1. Select Microsoft WordArt.
    2. Click OK.
    3. In the dialog box, type the text to be displayed as WordArt.
    4. (In this example, PTA Meeting was typed.)

    5. The WordArt tool bar will appear.

      1. Select an Shape.(For example, Wave 1)
      2. Select a Font. (For example, Arial)
      3. Select an Size. (For example, 48 pts)
      4. Make other selections, if desired.
