WIN 95 Menu Finding Files and Folders Next Topic

Objectives:

  1. Find a file on your computer.

Steps to follow:

    To Find a folder or file:
  1. Click Start
  2. Choose Find/Files or folders
  3. In the dialog box, type the following selections:
    1. In filename, type yourinitials*.* (For example, wjc*.*)
    2. Select the drive that contains your file.
    3. Select Find Now.

    The result will be a list of files containing your initials.
    (Now that you know the correct location of this file, go back to the move file activity and move this file into your word processing folder, if you have not already done so.)
