In the past, whenever you installed new hardware devices,
you had to tinker with Windows so that it recognized the
new device and could send and receive data to and from the device.
Well, those days are gone.
Windows 95 queries the new device for you and sets all the
necessary parameters to communicate with the new device.
The new device must say "Plug and Play" on the box for
this feature to work, but, of course, most hardware manufactures
follow this standard.
